Soft leaf and petal forms in cool grey-white are barely resolved against a near-white ground — present, then not, depending on the angle of light. Hand-knotted in New Zealand wool, the surface holds almost no contrast, only the faintest suggestion of form. Extraordinarily restrained. A carpet that reveals itself gradually and differently each time.
