A warm-white field carries the suggestion of broad, generous leaf forms — barely darker than the ground, absorbed as much as stated. Hand-knotted in New Zealand wool, the composition holds the cool shadow cast by foliage at midday. Minimal without being empty. A carpet of considerable restraint that rewards long, unhurried looking.
