Fine horizontal lines — faint, slightly irregular — move across a field of pale grey and near-white, as though the same section has been held against a winter sky. Hand-knotted in New Zealand wool, the surface holds almost no colour, only light. Restrained to the point of near-silence. A carpet that asks very little and gives considerably more.
