A series of rugs based on complex and original geometries: colours, shapes, and materials create a surface designed to blend elegantly and discreetly into a domestic or public space. Complex designs lend a strong identity to any interior space without necessarily shouting its presence, but rather proposing new colour harmonies.

Graduated in Industrial Design from the Politecnico di Milano in 1992. Riccardo Giovanetti spent his formative years in Milan’s industrial design studios before turning his attention to the ancient craft of hand-knotted carpets. His approach is architectural — structure before decoration, rigour before ornament. Each design in the Elements Collection is conceived as an object that earns its space rather than filling it.
Every carpet in the Elements Collection is woven in Asia, with an unbroken hand-knotting tradition stretching back centuries.
Giovanetti’s geometric designs are translated into precise technical drawings, then handed to master artisans whose families have practised this craft for generations. The result is a carpet that carries both inheritances — in equal measure, in every knot.
Tell us your project. Our Milan studio and Asian weavers will create something that exists nowhere else in the world.
